Great work with the tripod Debbie! I have yet to try this. I like the spunk of this photograph. Capturing yourself just monkeying around. Hahaha! Get it, "monkeying around". ;-) You look great! I'm sure mama is proud of her beautiful daughter. :-)

The real you? You have been photographing many shots in the sun. Your tan gives you away. Are you pleased with the tripod and timer? Nice to see another view of you.

Yep, that's me--my skin really soaks up the sun. I am pleased with the tripod and timer, just never pleased with my pics, send them to the Mom anyway! Thank you very much Bob!!

Excellent care free shot Lowrider. Love the long hair blowing in the breeze. Lucky you to wear the grey so well (hope I'm that lucky, not too long to go I imagine @ 34) :( !! Your black clothing blends well with the dark areas in the tree bark and I like the idea of shadow to the front and bright light behind.
Love the conversation piece, helps to build a great picture. I get the feeling that your Mum shakes her head often with that loving "That's my girl" expression and accompanying smile. Thanks for sharing, this is great!

I like how well this picture works. The colors all work very well together and the touch of green in the top breaks up all the blacks, whites, and grays.

The deffinition in the trees are nice and the color and mood of the composition piece together. The dialogue to posted here amuses me... all mother's are the same, are they not?

I like the contrast in the leaves, but I think there should have been on you... you're all in shadow... And take those sunglasses off so we can all see your face.

Every photographer likes to conduct experiments with self-portraits. There are the medium to say to the world: here I am! I'm not always the person behind the camera. I'm a human being!

But self-portraits are difficult to materialize as Art. Everybody loves you here. I

Very nice shot. Looks like you're having alot of fun. I always enjoy your stories behind the photos. Wish I could be a little braver about approaching people.

Love the shot.Shows the care free nature of the subject and artist(one in the same). Not sure on how or what ot say about improving such a pic.Great job--as long as you have fun doing the photos and showing it you wil bring smiles to peoples faces.

Thank you wolf6!! I think that is what photography is all about, bringing smiles and enjoyment to others while enriching our lives at the same time, just a win/win kind of thing! I appreciate your time very much!!

It looks like you are having fun. It would have been a great photo of the tree alone. Or of you alone. The tree and you competed for the main focus of the photo.
