Excellent! Hope your Mom liked the picture. But sometimes its best for them to be left in the dark about what you've been up to. LOL. Excellent compostion and very good focus.

Thanks for the chuckle! I don't think it will take long for you to figure out the tripod. Positioning yourself at the same angle as the tree makes for a nice effect. Now get your axx in gear and get one to Mama.

Well I can say this...I do like your shirt quite a bit. I honestly love self-portraits of the artists themselves. I do them all the time....and it's great fun. Anyhow...good pic : )

Hey Debbie, great story! I have had similar conversations with my mom on different subjects, so I know the feeling. Great shot, just a little dark for me. You are kind of camouflaged. Such a fun shot though. I like it!

Well, it that is the case, guess we better review the tree picture before she whoops your southend as you head north. It is a good picture, there is good color contrast, yet you are a little difficult to pick up. Shore hope your Ma aint in Central Texas, she might whoop my southend if I aint real nice to you on my reviews!!

I love the title of your picture. It goes well. I like the way you have brought out your personality. It shows you have a great sense of adventure. I think it could have used some sunshine on you. Though with the time you shot this it looks like it may have been too bright and thus washing you out. It turned out nicely anyway. I would also take a bit off of the left side of this shot just at the base of the first tree.
