Amazing 27 cents wow where did those days go. Would really love to have gas at that price, especially since we own a motor home that holds 75 gallons. Really like the story telling part of this as the way it use to be. Only thing thought was it could be a little more in focus but at my age it probably is in focus.

Thank you very much howdy!! I am not happy with the upload of this pic at all, in original you can clearly see 27 per gallon, although, some are seeing it clear, I don't, either, on my monitor, so just figure your eyes are in great shape!!!!

This is a good shot Low, giving a 5 on this, but it does seem a bit fuzzy on my end, I think upload myself, I I've had that problem also. The good old days 27 cent a gallon, and I remember that oil company Sinclair. Great job!!!

Amazing photo...hard to believe someone has this as yard decor :) However, does bring back the past into view. 27 cents a gallon? Did you "fill-up" :) How far do you travel to find such interesting unique relics?

This is a good photo. The sign on the gas pump is out of focus, and I would have centered this particular subject. The lighting is good. Nice shot.

Ok Lowrider, I have to admit you shoot anything and everything. I love a person that just goes out and is not affraid to take shots of the hidden surprizes. Great job here, all I see is a dark side, again probley the sun, and a bit off center which may have been how you wanted it? But it's a beaut!

What a find... I cannot believe something like that is still around .. if people did not collect stuff like that then I guess people would not be able to photograph anything like it... great job on this the turn out is fabulous with the dof well done and the exposure seems really good. :)

You have the pump sitting perfectly in the shot, right on classic lines. I think this would have benefited from a little less exposure, the font of the pump seems a little blown out, and the rest of the colors seem a little flat. The only problem I find with framing, is the little bit of tree that is coming into the frame. It tends to be a little distracting, which pulls the eye away. I think you could benefit with shots like this by really experimenting with exposure. Don't be afraid of going lower than what the light meter on the camera is telling you. I also wonder what this would look like in B&W. Monochrome is a lot more forgiving when it comes to flat, distracting, or unnecessary colors. You eye for framing just keeps getting better and better!

if I could find my glasses I'd put them on, but I can't see to find them! good job LR! I love the subject... just not sure how to help with the composition. the way it is, it kind of looks like... a yard decoration. :) There has to be a way to shoot it where it sits though...

What a neat photo! Very original. I like that instead of being surrounded by the junk you would usually see with something like this - it's actually surround by grass and trees. This makes it not only unusual, but interesting. Great shot!
