I love the close up view and your shading and light is very good. I hope you are painting lots of everyday items from your life. It makes it personal! Hope to see more still life paintings.

Your oils flow with a smooth presenatation, your attention to reflective details bring out the contouring of these olives and proportion quite nicely. Your attention of detailing and shape of such a minute scale object brings this shot to life.

At first glance I mistook these as Green Apples.
Reading the note by the Artist I see they are indeed
green olives. Guess I have never seen any with stems.
Thanks for sharing you talent.
Have a great day (:D)

This is a really good still life study, good color, form, and shading, but I feel that it is lacking something since there is no surface for the olives to be sitting on. They just seem to be floating in the air.

Floating olives - perhaps they are floating in a martini? :)

santiago, congratulations on another superior work of art. What an amazing accomplishment to create something so impressive with just two simple little olives as your inspiration. Your colouring is great, most appealing and I love the manner in which the background is rendered in shades so similar to the subject. I am confused by the work being listed as a drawing but the medium says oil. Is this correct? And, I can't resist asking, if oil is correct, is it olive oil? In any case, santiago, this is a wonderful piece.
Peace, Papa
