i think one of the things that always gets me when viewing the great rockies is that they will be pure white with snow while the world around them is still green and brown. you have captured this well, debbie! they really are breathtakingly beautiful. nice shot!

This is a beautiful picture of a beautiful mountain range.

I don't think that this picture is crooked, at least from looking at the trunks on the trees (they look vertical to me). Nonetheless, the slant at the base of the mountain is distracting. The scan could be better, though I suspect the film you used could give you better grain and contrast. Try these with slide film (favorite for this stuff is Fuji Velvia 50 or 100F). For amazing mountain ranges like this, also give yourself the opportunity to take multiple shots with a longer lens and piece them together for an amazing panorama or poster!!!

Interesting contrast in this photo, though I'm not sure the foreground has enough interest in it. The trees just look like blobs & it is very barron. The sky too is uninteresting. Maybe this scene would look better on another day.

I would be speechless but need to tell you what I think of this. I think a lot ot this. Wish it was 6 feet wide hanging on my wall. The covered peaks are so neatly joined by the rest of the mountains. Outstanding shot.

This is a wonderful photograph, it's real postcard stuff. The contrast of the dry foreground against the snow-capped mountains in the background gives it perfect balance and just the right amount of light and shade. Overall a top job!

Presents a pleasing composition, the title is very apt for the subject matter. A great use of light and shadow, particularly where the foreground meets the snowline.

Nice picture here Low! I like the scene in this image. The sky and mountains are a little too close in color to get a really good contrast though. It would be good to see this taken either later in the day, or on a day at least with a clearer sky.

Hi LowRider, this is a very nice mountain shot.. the color turn out is very good... I find that my head goes sideways viewing this image as the base of the mountain range is not straight... the clump of trees on the right maybe should be completely in the photograph or not there at all as that is one object that seems to distract and drag the eyes off the image.. overall with the tree in the image it shows wonderful depth.. the white of the snow pops out at the viewer.. I hope my comments help.
