Really pretty. Your friend is clearly the
focal point. Maybe a clear horizontal
line for sea and sky may be in order
by the use of color.

artfroggy, I can't imagine how I would have missed this when it was first posted. Even when I saw the thumbnail this time, I was impressed. Now that I see the full screen version, I think it a magnificent painting. The blend of colours is nothing short of brilliant. The whole work is extremely strong and carries great impact. The scene is vibrant, peaceful and inviting. This is among the top few works of my favourite I've seen on this site.

this took me by storm and took only a couple of hours of frantic time....sometimes ir seems that way and sometimes they are a complete chore!!!!

Artfroggy, I don't know what to say...I just viewed and excellent piece by Draugr, and the very next work I see is this fabulous one. I would have to rate the ascetics and details for this as inspirational.
