Not a very dramatic piece. I would have loved to see better lighting, something to add flavor. Otherwise, this is a very nice picture if only a little bland. Thank you for sharing.

What a superb pictorial record of history, and also how poignant this is, as we have all read accounts of this war, but we never see pictures in colour. Thankyou for this. Best wishes.

What a beautiful picture. The cannons look real good, it is good that you got two in the same scene and not just one. The background is gorgeous.

Picturesque!
It is strikingly expressive.
The blue skies laced with white, the green and ash coloured trees are exotic.
And the shock of pink lends a strange warmth to the entire photo.
The green and straw coloured grass and amidst them the indomitable tanks basking in glory!
It is very ironical that the destroyers are idling away in such peaceful and wonderful surroundinds which seems to have been blessed by bountiful nature herself.
You have captured the very irony of life very impressively and succintly.
This doesn't feel like a battlefield at all.The picture breathes calm and an inexpressible serenity.
Well Taken!

I like the dimension of this piece and the angle the cannon's are being shot at. Interesting how the foreground had paled, dried grass, weeds and beyond the subjects, lie a field of what looks like lavender flowers, however is probably shimmering water, with a grove of trees behind. It's hard to tell since the pic is on the small scale side. The sky filled with drifting clouds in the back has a nice blue hue to accent the coloring of the cannon's barrels. The shot is clear, balanced and appealing to the eye.
Nice contribution.

Thanks for the review. This helps so much. It is hard to review ones own work. Thanks again to all.

Cool cannons! This has a very 'History Channel' feel to it. The pic itself is far away enough to play off of the scenery, while close enough to be able to see the cannons with no problem. Just the right distance! Keep up the good work!
