Wow! I can smell the sand in the bottom portion and the earth tones color from the houses adds more impact to the sensation of sand storm in the bottom cloud. I can't see other way to emphasize the composition but leaving the top blue/grayish tone sky. Very well thought.
WOW is that Buckeye when I lived thier it was a main street a church and not much else. It actually has some nice houses hope one is yours
Tha storm looks the same as all the dust storms I have seen

Looks like a monster of a dust storm rolling in.
The houses give a point of size for the height and width of the dust cloud below the normal storm cloud.
Impressive to see but not too nice to experience I am sure.
LEE the OLDTIMER
You composed very nicely to capture the two sets of clouds and the subdued exposure conveys the mood well. Sounds like it was quite a "humdinger". Thanks for sharing.
I see Buckeye has changed a bit! More houses since I was there! lol Don't missing driving in those duststorms though! The lightning was always the best part of the storms though. Nice color of the dust. I like how the backboards on the basketball hoops are showing so pristine white in all the pink and green! Thanks for stirring up my dusty memories!
actually it just knocks over little trees and tears up canvas tarps in peoples back yard not to mention the pool toys go flying as the storms come in fast and leave just as fast, no homes hurt ...thank you for the review
