WOW . . . the colors you captured are absolutely gorgeous. Was this a lucky shot or were you taking alot until you got it just right?? And which you did. .this is just right.

i like the scale of the object in the foreground, without the mountains in the background the scale of the object would look huge. the colors you captured in the sky are absolutely beautiful

A very striking picture. The silhouette is fantastic against the sky - the colors of which are fantastic. Excellent composition and contrast.

I really love it, man. Its so peaceful and calming. The soft colors and silohuette slightly unveiled by the setting light...perfect timing. The shape is different and it makes me want to play with it like a toy.

Hi Islander, I think you have a near perfect image here. And though I feel that the photographic rule of thirds is often needlessly over emphasized, as many excellent images break that rule and others to offer an ascetically pleasing alternative view of what we are so often accustomed to. In this particular case, I feel that having your subject in the left third of the photo would be a definite benefit over it's current centered position. Even, if re-shooting is not a viable option, cropping this image in so that an equal distance from the left border to the device is equal to or less than the distance from the device to the top border, will give your subject the appearance of human characteristics, like a person standing to one side, looking upward and outward to the cosmic like clouds and sky beyond. A crop might turn your image into a square, unless you also take some off of the right, but a square doesn't necessarily take away from, nor does the crop, the wonderful display of silhouette, clouds and colours you have captured here. What do you think?

Excellent Photograph. The composition is strong and interesting. The colors in the sky are vivid and absolutely breathtaking. The silhouette of the sun thing is very striking.

nice photo, wonderful colors, but there is something with the composition which bothers my eyes, I think the globe or whatever this thing is, is too big on the foreground, and atracts more attention than the sunset, which I would have thought would be the subject, a bit to the right would have done a whole difference.

great shot it certainly congers up emotion, very relaxing to view, you are so lucky to see this sight first hand, great composure with the horizion line and main subject both slightly of centre.

Those clouds on just on fire. What a beautiful sunset. One you would find to advertise it's location. I didn't even know that there was an instrument that was used to measure sunshine. You caught some beautiful colors in this one.
