Excellent Artwork. I love all the bright colors. The details are outstanding, would love to see this in person. The composition is fun and very interesting. Its a wonderful piece.

I will try to get a better scan. This is one of my biggest drawings, at about 20"x26"

Very good abstract. Looks a little like one of those colour blind tests :) If the actual original creation looks brighter and more vivid that this one I think I would suggest attempting to adjust the brightness and contrast to reflect that when you scan or photograph it for upload. Just a minor thing, but I think the colours displayed online seem darkened or muted a bit. What do you think. Just the same, very well done.

I did this with a fairly crappy camera. I think the color is bad partly becase I don't have the right lighting. All the walls in our house are darkly colored...maybe I should try it outdoors?

Let's see, I see lions, people, birds, buildings, elephant, puzzle pieces, gondola, flowers, cat, snakes, moons, traffic lights, streets, Wow!
I see so many things, and see something different each time I look. Kinda like "where's waldo"...I'll have to keep coming back to explore this one...it's truly and exploration...a piece that's more for the journey than the destination! Loving it! Keep it up!

Thanks! I love "where's waldo", it was such a bizarre concept. If you'd like to see more, go to www.geocities.com/mikeorlet . I've got lots of them, but many of the scans/photos are poor.

I am not into abstract work, but I enjoy art of all kinds. This is done with alot of movement, color, and continuity.
I am sure much time and energy devoted to it.
I rate it high, and respect the artistry and talent contained therein

Great job!! This reminds me of a wall mural, it is a fine example of abstract, maybe even surrealism like in the early 1900's, like Dali, Descamps, or Esher!!Great color combinations as well-come up with a title and you've got a 5 star piece here! the shapes remind me of a zoo, or jungle!

Very good, how does this not drive yor crazy. Technically a masterpiece. Viewer wants to look at this for hours on end. Colors work really well. No complaints.

Dangyr_Mike, this, for me, is an extremely interesting piece of abstract art. It stirs the imagination and I when looking at the image on my screen here, at some length, I get fleeting and pleasing images of people, animals, fish and other phenomenon. The muted colours are also impressive. This is a well executed and intriguing work.
Peace, Papa

Thanks for the comment. This work is like a doodle in that it evolves and lives and fills up the page. It is supposed to be pleasing but emotional.

Whoa - that is one busy piece of artwork. I see a lot of colorful, complicated shapes, my brain can't settle on just one thing though. I like it, it's like a maze, and the colors are nice and bright, adding to the overall chaotic nature.

I like that you used the term "chaotic" nature. That's one of the things I strive for...just as nature builds trees, mountains, etc from a set of rules and random starting conditions, I try to build beautiful worlds of art with a simple set of rules influenced by my thoughts and feelings.
