I like the area you picked to drive down and snap a picture. This angle just doesn't stand out right. If your focus is the road, maybe a little far down than snap it or even a little lower. There's alot of beauty here that you could possible get more angles and more posting from in the same area. The distant trees have such a nice color and shape to them, the fence down on the right could make a nice subject I could go on and on. Keep them coming I love the landscapes you travel. :)

Your notes cracked me up! This has great contract with the colors. I like that the tree in the middle is very vibrant and the rest are fairly consistant greens. Road adds interest, but doesn't keep your attention for very long. Looks like a pretty place though...wish it was my driveway!

The road to nowhere, interesting concept ,but never the less good shoot .Actual road could be more centered but colors are impressive

I like the framing, though it is difficult from your title and description to figure out what this was trying to convey. I don't understand the "old crap" comment. It took me a long time to figure out what that fence on the right is. I thought it looked like a giraffe neck for a while lol. All in all, I see a well depicted country road under a cloudy sky.

Thank you very much david!! The title is more or less, peaceful solitude, quiet lonely--I just did want to name it something mundane like quiet dirt road. 'Old Crap' because I get teased by many on this site about taking photos of old crap, ex. rusted farm equipment, abandoned houses, etc. Glad you figured out the fence, started to crop but didn't want to loose additional color on that side. LOL! That is why I considered cropping, looked like a giraffe neck to me too even knowing what it was! Thanks again!

Excellent image !!! The exposure is dead on. Composition is perfect. I love shots like this that give a feeling such as 'what's around the bend' . Keep up the good work !!!

WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GIRL. So glad to see ya!!!!! : ) : ) : ) Hi Debbie, got carried away there. As always, This is a picture with charicture (spelling) I really like the way the road goes up and around to who knows where, and the fact that it is a dirt road gives it more mystery. The colors in the trees and bushes add to the beauty of the picture too.

LowRider, a very good photograph in my view, with an interesting scene and composition, as well as perspective. I do think, however, there is a problem with the exposure, or contrast, with the road appearing to be somewhat overexposed and the woods at the right and background being so very dark. A very fine effort, however, with an appealing effect of the road just disappearing into the woods.
Peace, Papa

I'm so glad to see you posting again! Hope all is well!! I love this photograph because of the converging lines...the road draws your attention to what lays ahead! Great Job!

Wonderful variation of colours, the yellow of the bush on the left contrasting with the dark greens sets it off, along with the dusty road taking the eye round the corner and up the incline. Nice
