Little Night Prowler by MinoYasue
Page 5 of the book Landscape and Nature (2011~present)

Yasue,
This is delightful and unique, with the vertical angle and towering flowers. I love the atmosphere and tones of the sky, it looks as if an old season has just been exchanged for a new one, perhaps spring into summer.
Best of all is the focal point, the young and beautiful feline. The expression on the face shows a relaxed, but very aware young cat. It reminds me of a Lynx or Bobcat, with the coloring and eyes painted as they are.
Beautiful work, as usual!

yin-yang by bamunday

Bamundy,
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to review this(I'm not too keen on reviewing) but I had to come out of my cave for this one.
I agree with KimArtis's comments...this is an exceptional work!
I love the fact that the lines almost all have curves to them, I'm not into straight edges so this really appealed to what I love to look at aesthetically.
Beautiful work...you definitely deserve the win on this one, in my opinion :-)

Zebra Stripes by Lucy Chaplin

Lucy,
This is gorgeous, and so well executed!
I have always been drawn to the zebra, and have enjoyed painting them in watercolor, but Your painting has so much more presence, and richness!
I love the fine details seen in the individual hairs painted, and the detail in the eye.
Super Job,
Jenny

Sunflower. by MinoYasue
Intro of the book Girls Like Flowers (2011~present)

Yasue,
This is so emotive and , as your author notes say, there is often a touch of melancholy with the extraordinarily beautiful.
You have captured a certain look in the face here, of someone who has seen much with her eyes and heart, some things painful too.
This is so lovely..the technique and style you have with blending colors has your signature all over this!

RoomWithaView,
This landscape you have created seems to jump off the page and grab the viewer. It feels like a roller coaster ride up to the top.Nice work!
I love the clean confident lines and the way you have everything balanced.

And She Danced by Angelheart

Angelheart,
This is a truly wonderful piece! The flow and movement tell the story without notes, however your excellent author notes add so much.
The colors are unique but still easy on the eye.
Well done my friend!

Timeless Music Fantasy by Curly Girly

CurlyGirly,
I love your style, and the melding of both whimsy and realism is a perfect balance!
I think the colors are extremely pleasant as well as the combination of two very inspiring gifts we enjoy as humans: Nature and Music.
Thanks for sharing!

Once upon a time by MinoYasue

Mino,
This is a stunning piece and highly emotive. I am drawn in by both the story which one senses when looking at the seasons etched across this man's face, and also the wonderful saturation of colors that meld together.
Amazing talent!
Thank you for sharing,

The Dance by Jean A Cormier

Jean,
I LOVE the colors and movement you have created in this beauty "The Dance".
I really love the warm turquoise with the reds and oranges, and to cool down some of that warmth you have the lovely lavender along the fringes and peeking in here and there.
I like the inspiration for this as well, in your superb author notes!
