    SCTaft: My mother taught 1st grade for 36 years and she could write a book. One chapter would be "The year I had Sharla, Carla, Marla, and Darla."
    Another chapter would be, "Mrs Taft, you couldn't whip your way out of a wet paper sack!" She had to go out into the hall and laugh for that one.

shiloh106: I've been reading up on 50mm lens --"normal lens". Do any of you have experience with this, is it worth a buy?

    Snopaw: Hi Shiloh. I have a 50mm prime lens, 1.8 appeture. Rockdoc has a 1.4 and swears by it. It does shoot the sharpest of pictures, but only at that one distance, so you either get closer or farther depending on what you are shooting. Shirley

    shiloh106: Thanks Shirley. The one I was looking at was 1.8 and I have heard the 1.4 is better. You both have great looking shots though so I'll definitely do some more thinking on it!
