LOSCH DESIGNS was born in England and lived for a short time in Luxembourg. Then, around 10 years ago, she moved to the West Coast of America. She is 36 years old. She has loved art and drawing all of her life and is self taught. Her Mum encouraged her to knit at the tender age of 3 but did not really experiment with wool until she was in her teens. In 1988, she happened across making a picture so large that it looked like a knit pattern. And through this time has been manipulating her shading ability and the palette of wool/yarn colours to come up with her creations. The 1990's was a bad time for her and it is not until this millennium that she took up her love again. She is hoping to make this a full time career and always appreciates any suggestions given. She does commission work in graphite/pencil and knit works, either wall hanging or garments.
