As a hobby photographer, Keri enjoys taking photos mostly of landscapes. Her cameras of choice are a Sony a330 as well as a Sony DSC-TX10. Currently she works from home for her family's business. Keri is happily married and the mother of two teenaged daughters whom also share her love of photography.

avmurray : Everything you say is of course true, but small incidents proving the opposite happens now and again. I gave a photo 4 stars, and got a reviewing contest nomination for it. It is so much rewarding than gettting a nomination for a review with 5 or six stars. This member even tried her best to correct as much as possible after she had read my revview. Things like this keeps me going.

Kelli Lauck : Have to agree - this is why I rarely participate in any posting or reviewing of late. I have no problem receiving a vote provided someone leaves suggestions for improvement however it's the 4 votes that give a praising review and do not offer any suggestions/criticism that irk me. One newer member is passing out quite a few of 41/2 and 4 votes but not a single one indicating a problem or suggestions to improve....ANY time I have ever given out a vote below 5, I have always offered some suggestion or "education" - that is the point, yes?!

Why post an over exposed shot? Keep taking it till you get it right. The beauty of digital photography is we know right away if it came out! I URGE all of you here...if YOU think you are all that because of your fake ranking number, Go look at Echo7,Sinbackkk portfolios ... want to see CLARITY? THAT is clarity. Don is the Number One Photographer on the site.I am tired of the lies on the front page. And why any artist wants FALSE praise for BLURRY BLOWN OUT work is beyond me. The site is now Facebook rating.quality.I received many less than 5's when I joined here a year ago. It is because of those ratings I LEARNED and improved. I get several hear asking for my help and asking how I get such clarity and vivid color in my shots. I help All and that is because I was given honest reviews. Seriously You Pinocchio's who lie and tell someone their focus is pin sharp or offer an excuse for their soft focus... you help no one. I find it sad and very disturbing that anyone would want praise for anything that is not worthy of it. Sort of like stealing something rather than buying it. Wait... one can buy their way here. If we stop giving false reviews..maybe..just maybe we all can learn and get along. But it will never happen when lies are told daily here. :(
