I am a nurse by profession but have always wanted to do art. I am self taught with the exception of the experience I gained while working for an artist as a stenciler out after highschool. I put my artworld on hold to raise my children and further my nursing career which I am still in the process of completing but my passion for art over the past few years has begun to get in the way. I love mostly to paint and since the discovery of the Wacom tablet, digital art is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Now that my children are growing I am hoping to do what my heart desires most and make someone happy showing off some of what I love to do most.

Finally finished all my nursing theory exams and moving onto the final stage of my never ending journey. Hoping to finish in the next few months.

well still working on finishing my philosophy class...which is turning out to be nothing more than a PIA...can't wait till this is over...and school too...It is taking much longer than I wanted it to and makes me feel half like dropping out...but I have to stay with it no matter how miserable I am becoming....

wow...I came back for 1 day and I don't know how I went away for so long...I feel like I missed so much...so many new and very good artist and a painting--by one of the best digital artist I know....that was completely magical and brought back for me some of the best memories of my father/family and well I am pretty sure he was the glue that held our family together...the family has never been the same since he passed away...I suppose changes come with the loss of greatness...I loved him so much and his time was too short...so it is gonna be for me such a challenge to keep my focus on school now..since something inside me is going to force me back to this site..if not everyday..a lot more often...the magic of art is the memories it triggers...peace all...and well wishes....

thought I would stop by and say hi all...still in school--Philosophy...yuck...can't wait to take my final so I can start on my last nursing theory exam...which I would have done if I wouldn't have gotten a D on it twice...never had that happen to me before but there is always a first time...then I am officially in the home stretch...just have to go to NY for my clinical weekend and I will be a graduate...then I still have to sit for the boards..but at least I will be done with school...hoped to be done by August but....unemployment has been too much fun to spend the entire summer studying...till now...now I am digging deep and quick through the books since the end is in sight and someone else is helping me with the bill...gotta take advantage of that...so hope to be back in full swing by the start of the new year...for now I have to do a lot of listening to my philosophy class so I will at least do a few new paintings...hope all are well....

lippi1 : thanks so much...I took the LPN boards...20 years ago this year..and I laugh now when I remember them telling us then that they were going to be on computer soon...back then they were on paper and you had to stay the entire time...which was 2 4 hour sessions...I am not sure it was such a bad thing...kind of makes me nervous to think they can shut them down on you anytime in the test...lol

feels like I have been away forever...school is getting the better of me trying to get my last 3 classes done by mid July...can't really stand studying everyday...bugging out...just want to get done so I can get back to what I love most...hope all are well...miss everyone...
