INFORMATION
Art in one form or another has always been a part of my life. I have appreciated the beauty and excitement created by artist since I learned to mix crayola colors as a child. I think my first love of art was in watching my oldest sister draw and paint. I found my own avenue of expession in woodworking first, then in taking old things and giving them new life. A short while ago I got a Nikon S550 point and shoot and the photography bug bit hard. Now I look at nothing the same as I use to. As an amatuer, I have begun to read, listen, and learn so much about the art of taking photos that I think I'll be a student forever. And that's cool with me. There is a certain satisfaction in taking pictures that's hard to describe. I just feel it. Macro is a whole new world. Single source and natural lighting remind of the glamour days of Hollywood. Black and white is sometimes the only way to tell the story. I've developed no style as of yet because I shoot what interest me and I don't know it until I see it. Maybe someday I'll make a choice of direction but presently I just want to shoot.

I am looking forward to the reviews, information, and helpful hints I can get from a community of talented artist. That alone is worth being here. I have already been given inspiration from looking at the work of other artist. This is my motivation to explore and push limits. I am happy I found a place to put it out there and take lesson from the feedback. So again, "Hello Everyone".
