Keri353 is a committed and avid photographer. She never leaves home without her camera. And at home...it's always out and ready to go. Children, families, friends, animals and portraits are some of her favorite things to photograph. She currently resides in Washington State, USA with her husband, four kids and a whopping eighteen grandchildren and another on the way. Lots of photo opportunities there. The Pacific North West holds some of the most beautiful scenery between the Columbia River Gorge, The Cascade mountain ranges, and the Pacific Ocean handy, there is a lot to log on film. She currently uses a Cannon EOS-50D and that definitely helps to capture the ever changing scenery and children. Keri uses several different photo editing programs to enhance and edit her pictures. Most all of her pictures are for sale. Her newest venture is in the writing arena on fanstory.com with poems that are listed as ??all time best?? and ??recognized status ."

I am the decisive element: my personal approach creates the climate - my daily mood makes the weather. I possess tremendous power to make a life miserable or joyous: I can be a tool of torture, or an instrument of inspiration - I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal. It is my response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or deâ??escalated, and a person humanized or dehumanized. Haim Ginott

So many things to photograph and so little time.

Portraits are my thing, especially kids, babies, pregnancies. I love the smoothness of it all, one into the other, how it all evolves. What children can do with little direction and a little fun is ingenious. I also enjoy scenery and shots of the ever changing seasons it provides. The thought of photography appraoched me about 25 years ago, though I never took it seriously until 3 years ago. Now that I am retired, it gives me great pleasure.
I have five grown children who have blessed me with 18 great subjects to photograph. They all have grown accustomed to a camera in their face. They also know I won't leave anything alone so the picture will always change to what I see in them. Living in the Pacific Nothwest supplies me with endless opportunities to shoot landscapes and nature.
