I started a commissioned painting today and have learned something new,the lady wants her newborn grandaughters(twins)painted in sepia tones,it is turning out,I am pleased with the colors.

going to start a new one,never tried anything like this,my husband and one of our furry kids.

I am a self taught artist,not even an art class in school.Istarted drawing as a child and have bben painting for about 15 years now.I started with acrylics then I began to experiment with oils,which I love,the blending of colors is wonderful.I have painted many things but my love is for pets,of which I have 4 yorkies.Painting calms me and I loose many hours,they are just gone.
