Hello everyone. My name is Diane lynn, ( last intials are kah in case any one was wondering where I came up with my profile name LOL } I joined FAR in 2011 and I am so glad I did. I'm new to digtal art, and fairly new to computers themselves. Never went near one until a few years ago, they seemed a bit too complicated for me but I have to admit that now I go through withdrawals if I'm without one LOL.

thanks those who said they would pray for my niece and her daughter. I was going to leave the site this month, but angleheart and donkeyoatey talked me into staying. I'm not happy with the situation that happened but I know how much I will miss everyone on here and it really is depressing to spend so much time on a painting that no one gets to see. I know there were some misunderstanding about why I was going to leave. I want to try to make it clear that it had nothing to do with the rankings or ratings of my paintings. I look forward to those postive critiques, if everyone always told me just how great my work was I'd come to two conclusions, one they needed glasses and two they just didn't want to hurt my feelings LOl Its always great to get those six stars and a good review but even I know none of my work is perfect. Please always stay honest with me and help me to be the best artist I can be.

I now that this is not the place to do this because it's a site for sharing our art, but I wanted to ask a huge favor of anyone who reads this. I have a beautful niece who isn't really healthy, but to add to her own health she I found out that her 6 year old daughter has cancer.

sarnewfie : The ranks are not important. It is the quality of work that is. I cannot possibly paint a watercolor in just one day. Not possible. Photography is instant gratification and then you work your tail off to be able to post two works a day with good results with lots of reviews helping your ratings. I was number 1 photog and number 1 reviewer and believe me you do not want to put the time and effort into achieving that that i did. Uggggggg. talk about NO life!!!!

lynnkah : I have to agree with you samewife, I enjoy painting and having fun with my weird stuff, the rankings are nice to see where your rated among your peers, but then I look at my work compared to alot of others on here and wonder how I managed to stay ranked as 6 when others are far better artist. so I have to say I'll be happy no matter where I place as long as someone says they enjoy my work and even those who say they don't like something I post, I still can get a smile LOL

A tornado hit just a few feet from our home, didn't damage anything here but two houses down, their house is totally destroyed. It's amazing what devestation mother nature can do in only a few seconds.

I finally got home from the hosptial today, still a bit under the weather and more test to foloow but I'm back at my computer and at least the shakes from the withdrawls are over LOL. I had my daughtrs laptop but no drawing programs, man now that to me is called primitive LOl

I am currently in the hospital with another bad bought of the pnemonia..awhhh Ohio weather, so I won't be able to post for awhile.
