ljaksha: Well, we weathered the rain, getting over 10 inches of rain in less than 20 hours, I really don't want to see it rain for quite a while. My basement had just a trickle of water, but my street is basically washed away. Lake Superior, is usually so blue and clean, but now with all the river run off, the harbor and our end of the lake is a reddish brown, do to the clay, and iron in the soil, will take quite a while to clear up. But my family and friends are all safe and sound so that is what really matters.

    Pat Christensen: Hi, I am sure there is mmany good programs out there, I know many on here use photoshop. I just use Gimp and piscasio both free downloads. Hope that helps some. :)Pat

    Southernbelle Photos: I have photoshop on my computer which I bought. However, I use Picasa 3 which is free. I find it very easy to use. Very people friendly.

    Old Redeye: I have Photoshop Elements on my computer and it's a very powerful program...but not very intuitive. Consequently I use ACDSee for most of my organizing and editing. I find it much easier to work with for basic photo processing.

ljaksha: I have been a member for almost a week and I am really enjoying myself. It is great to get feedback from people that don't know me. Still trying to get the hang of the whole process, it is a little confusing, but I am getting there.
