Debbie Mahorney: Haven't been on lately. Been shooting lots of Senior pics.
April 24 at 12:10AM

Debbie Mahorney: Shooting a baby shower today. At least I'm starting to get some work. Every little bit of exposure helps.

Debbie Mahorney: I am going to have to learn to do studio shots. Although I find some of them very beautiful, that is not where my heart is.

rooskanga1: nobody "has" to do anything they don't want too--do what you love!
    February 11 at 7:59PM
Debbie Mahorney: Thanks. Let me rephrase that I need to learn. Around here that's where the money is. If I learn I can do studio shots to finance my fun photography.

Debbie Mahorney: Thank you all for the many great reviews on the giraffe picture. Many of you have expressed concern over the small area he is being kept in. In reality he is in a very large area with an older giraffe (mother perhaps) with lots of room to run. The animals in this zoo are very well tended and spoiled. It was feeding time and he was over in the corner waiting on the zoo keepers to come feed them. He could see where they were by looking over the fence in the corner. I love animals and nature very much. I would never show an animal being abused, unless it was for the purpose of showing the abuse.

Debbie Mahorney: I've noticed everyone is geting so creative with their pictures. I'll have to step it up, I'm just barely getting the basic photos down. LOL I just love viewing everyone else's work on this site.

    Texfstop: We all learn here!

bushimages: Just checked out your images nothing worth a one for sure.in Australia we call them Wankers :>)now I'll get a one Lol
    February 8 at 11:43AM
Debbie Mahorney: Thanks for looking. I don't mind a little constructive critism, but dang a 1. Maybe he won't get you too. LOL

chickadee: The beauty of natural and untouched nature is a wonder to behold Debbie!

Debbie Mahorney: Yes it is. Nothing man made can even begin to compare to the beauty of nature. I always thought they were crazy on Gilligans Island for wanting to go home. That looked like paradise to me.
    February 11 at 3:08PM

Debbie Mahorney: I just had a guy give me a 1 rating. How do you get a 1? I realize I'm not the best photographer on the site, but a 1. The picture wasn't nowhere near that bad. I'm hard to insult, but that hurt.
January 26 at 9:02PM
donkeyoatey: Sometimews, new people do not understand the rating system, perhaps that is what happened.
    January 26 at 9:38PM
Debbie Mahorney: I don't know. Good thing I have a strong ego LOL
    January 26 at 10:28PM
MGTF Blue: If you try to post a rating below a 3 you get a warning come up asking you if you are SURE you want to rate the image so low, so it can't have been a mistake.
Can't seem to find the review in question, has it been removed?
Did they give reasons for such a row rating? (although I don't really think ANY image should be rated that lowly)
    January 27 at 5:49AM
Debbie Mahorney: The low rating was on the silhoutte picture. They said they basically liked it. The last time I looked it was still there.
I'll be the first to admit it's not an awesome picture, but a 1
    January 27 at 8:35AM
webster: Looks like he has written 1 review since June- and no work posted (although when I left for a few days, all of my portfolio disappeared). Take it from where it comes- I wouldn't lose sleep over HIS opinion!

Debbie Mahorney: I've been taking more classes hoping to improve on my skills. Everyday I learn something new. That has always been one of my goals in life, to learn something new everyday. It doesn't matter how insignificant as long as it's learning.
January 16 at 11:16AM

Debbie Mahorney: Happy New Years everyone. Due to illness I haven't been on much lately, but I hope to change that soon.

Debbie Mahorney: With Thanksgiving out of the way I'm off to take some pictures. Hope I get some good ones to share.

Debbie Mahorney: Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Debbie Mahorney: I'm stepping out of my comfort zone. I'm working on portraits. This is not my favorite type of picture, but I have to learn sometime.
November 12 at 10:25AM
Debbie Mahorney: I just want to say thank you to all who have reviewed my portrait and offered suggestions. That's why I posted it, for the feedback. Thanks again
    November 12 at 11:01PM

Debbie Mahorney: I just got a new 55-200mm lens. Can't wait to play with it. I also have a 50mm prime lens coming. Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas to me. LOL Hopefully I'll have some good pictures to share.
November 8 at 10:27AM
Cephus: This lens is one of the best bargains that Canon has - great performance for a low price.
    November 8 at 10:38AM
Happy Snappy: I agree. Canons 50mm prime lens is the cheapest and one of the best lenses I have ever owned.
    November 8 at 11:59AM
Cephus: Was referring to the 55-250 but the other one is also very good.
    November 8 at 5:08PM

Debbie Mahorney: Did my first wedding reception shoot last night. I think it went well. The first is always the hardest. Slowly building confidence in my work.
October 28 at 11:26AM

Debbie Mahorney: Well I've gotten about 6 months photography classes and practice under my belt. I feel I have come a long way in that six months. I can tell a big difference in my work. I hope you can also.
October 27 at 11:00AM
Intrepid: Now that you have learned so much, taking photographs should be a snap.
    October 27 at 6:15PM
Debbie Mahorney: Hey, I still have a long way to go. But I'm learning and having fun. Viewing everyone else's photos has helped a lot. I have something to strive for.
    October 27 at 7:33PM

Debbie Mahorney: I've been so busy this week. A good busy. The Dragon in the bonfire picture actually got me known as a photographer in my area of the country. I'm starting to feel like I might make it in the photography business.
I want to thank everyone on this site that has encouraged me and offered suggestions. It has helped me to get to the place I am now.
