KellieO is interested in capturing moments in time, keeping the history of her family alive and well in print. The love of photography came from her mother, who had albums full of family pictures since 1950 until she passed in 2010. The interest grew, the equipment got better and a local class on how to use the camera has created a passion for all things photography. She is still learning and hopes by sharing here, that she will learn and grow her techniques.

I have been Absent for a couple of months. And was reading some comments from others and things like the rankings are unrealistic, etc... and I agree, because those that promote their photos get a lot more attention, but I have seen some really really great work from others that have posted. Just wondered if FAR would consider letting others recommend people? I'm not super active so maybe there are other ways, just writing my thoughts out.
KellieO : And seriously seeing others works makes me want to take better pictures!

Skyangel02 : We can always start a thread in the forums and refer others to the quality work but the problem is Tom does not allow us to mention other artists names in the forums. Apparently it is against the rules for some strange reason to discuss quality work. I had a thread removed because I was telling others about the fantastic work that FLYBOBROV does and saying I think he ought to get all sixes for his work. Check it out. He is fantastic at drawing portraits. One of the best on this site in my opinion. I am tempted to talk about the GREAT ARTISTS in the forums anyway even if I put my membership on the line by doing it. I like fighting against illogical rules. LOL ;-)

The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE.

Visited the Columbus Museum of Art today. My first visit to an art gallery. Certainly beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I enjoyed it a lot!
