I begun Painting in december 2009 when my theatre group went on xmas hoildays. I need something to channel my creativity into something. Some people suggested that I paint. I said I have no tallent there. Then I had an idea for a painting which was a anti smoking painting. I soon became addicted to painting. Yes it has became like a drug habbit and I cant stop. I have never had a lesson in painting and I call myself a social comentry artist. I have noticed that My work has became very popular in both shows I have displayed my work in and on facebook. Now Im here to share my work with you as I enjoy your work as well

You know what I really Hate Here. You upload a new art work get Lots of 5 and 6 stars Then some moron give you 3 stars and Knocks your work out of contention for all time best award. if you want a painting that looks like a photo then dont review my art
Happy Snappy : I thought you got all time best for over 25 reviews regardless of the marking. Anyway lowest score doesn't count but it does knock off one of your high ones with it.

lynsbandit : Hey Rhatzz, I totally agree with you,this site is wau too confusing , It is loaded with cliques and friends of friends. There is no figuring this site out.The ratings don't mean shit and the points or dollars are so screwed up . I take a look at the "all time best" photographer and she is a mother in ohio or somewhere and all she does is take pictures of her kids,number 1 I don't think so but she has about 500 followers and friends that always give her 5 ,5 1/2 or 6 stars for her stuff. Totally unbelievable ratings . I don't think this is the place for true and honest reviewing.I'm done with this place ,now I'm trying to get my money refunded !!!

the rhatzz : Lynsbandit you are rigth I agree. The top ranked artist here use pay pal to promote there work. I pay for mine by doing reviews. And yes I do detect Cliques here And if all they do is take photos of family and flowers then they are not a real artist. Then you see someone with only 4 works in the top 40 yes how does the system work. Its all designed to make money for the site and to have us spending money chasing a carot on a stick.

DPirrmann : yet there are those of us who understand, mate. the work is what is important. the work that moves us and each other. thats why i comment on the work that really jumps out at me. the work that really makes me pause and audibly gasp or scratch my head and wonder. that are that speaks to the soul. i have fb and there are plenty of cute kittens and adorable children our there. depth, my friends, depth and sometimes an knowingly wicked grin. the work that speaks without being bought.

I dont understand the rating system here. Ive read what the site states as how to people are ranked . it says we are rankend on Stars and coments and so on. So why is it that someone with only 4 or 5 works and very little reviews can be rated in the top 40? as Paulene Hanson Would say Please explain

the rhatzz : Thanks Lois Thats good advice and I am determined to continue to do my art my way. Sometimes things dont seem to have changed much when it comes to realism. I love to be a unique artist with my own style or even jenre. I do get a bad review at times but I am very thick skinned and dont allow it to bother me. I enjoy painting different aspects of my life. And ive painted many real people now as well as many fictiouse people and most are proud to be in my work. those like the people in We hate Art are not so proud to be there but I use plausable deniabillity. They can know its them but let them prove it. Yes the peoples choice award is a classic for me to and the red head women is proud to be in it. She loves it and wants to buy it. That painting was inspired by a real event. Thank you Lois your a real friend. :-)

Ok I want to paint a photograther taking a photo and it could be you. now heres the real tricky part you have to be the photograther that I invisage in my mind. and as Im a pain in the arse Im not going to tell you what I see in my minds eye. this photograther could be male or female. it could be of any age it could be of any race or creed. aint I a bitch. send me a pic if you send in the person I am looking for I paint you that simple.

I tryed to start a Compertition on this site to find My photograther and as I see this photograther in my mind i think it only fare that i be the only judge. However my contest got cancled due to me wanting to be the only judge. Oh well I suppose thats fare enouth. But I have done a routh drawing of what Im going to paint but it may be as little contraversal as my work offten can be. Oh I painted my theatre group and I have a photo of it here. its called milk crate theatre. Ive been a stage actor with them for over 3 years now and as this painting combines my to loves acting and painting she is a sentimental favorite of mine.. We do plays on just about anything as we write our own plays as well. We never perform any play that has been published unless we are publishing it. Its great fun. You have a nice weekend to lois.
