INFORMATION
JDBJD is an attorney by proessional training, but comes from a family which has produced a talented variety of artists for over four generations both in Europe and the United States. She has a limited amount of formal instruction, but was influenced by close relatives with training and professional experience in the visual arts; mainly painting, graphic art, and photography, which became her areas of primary interest. Her passion for photography is a new development, beginning in earnest just this year, though JDB had been creating digital art since about 2000, the preceding decade having been focused on the study of watercolor painting nearly exclusively. She is touched and delighted when her work brings pleasure to others and is genuinely flattered and honored that so many still take an interest in her work.

I have been fortunate to have had many opportunities to travel and live in other countries of the world and I think diversity of culture, geography, climate and such characteristics provides the most stimulation and inspiration to create, although I seldom overlook the beauty to be found in one's own back yard.
