wonderful artwork, matching colours. Personally I would have chosen some more dust, or darker sky. Just to add to the atmosphere, to make it look less easy what is going on there. Because it is hard work.
But I love it.

I am no expert, but I just like it. It shows determination, strength, exhaustion and yet no surrender to it.
She looks older then she is at the moment, because of being so tired.
And I love the haircolour!

I like your technique very much, and is impressed by it. The eye's are very big and glowing. I don't like the cat it self, but the picture is excellent. The back ground color is very pretty. 19-Jan-2008

This gives a feeling of rest, peace, lazy but up and gone in a second. Like wildlife should be, always alert ( that shows in the eyes and ears) but at ease if possible.
I like the details, and the fact that the antlers are not perfect and synchrone. Like in real life..

He is sat very well in his tub. I can imagine it was very difficult to get his weight distribution so convincing. Very clever. 16-Jan-2008

Thank you Cindy, I am thrilled you like this one so well.

I enjoyed this very much. The joy, energy, freedom is so clear ( just the barbed wire seem out of place...but that is just a personal note).
And black and white adds something mysterious, something surreal.

Cutting horse? Is that where horses with rider don't allow one calf to return to the group? If so, any time I've watched rodeos on tv, I'm always looking to watch that event. My favorite. To me, shows the natural instinct of the horse. Rider is there just for the ride.

I like this painting very much. Reminds me of a young horse up and about in the morning mist. Just seems to me she is intently taking in the morning odors and sights. Love the coloring and expressive eye you gave her. The details in the rest of her face to me show strength. Enjoyed viewing this painting. Great control with the airbrush. Annie 16-Jan-2008

Hi Cindy. Thank you for the wonderful review. You are correct in your interpretation that it is a rising sun. The mist, an early morning fog, is a dead give away. Again thank you for the great review.

One could get lost in the distance. And there is so much more than seems at the first look. The light of the rising sun ( or is it a setting sun? I think rising because of the mist) is captured as if the rocks are reluctant to say goodbye to it's warmth.
Great work

Thank you for your wonderfully insightful comments and review. Sorry about the limitation on Liquid canvas, but there are some nasty people out there that give ludicrous reviews just because it does'nt mean anything to them. Take care Glass i
For the review on Bontebok Browsing by Glass i
First: I loved the "Liquid Canvas", so different from regular, but so beautiful, surreal and colourful.( I could not review because I am not a premier member..)
These bonteboks are caught without disturbance, totally unaware of the camera. And that is how it should be. Beautiful contrast between stone and grass, light and shadow, with and without life.
Cindy.

Thank you, Cindy, for the great review. Good observation on the girl's picture.

Only the horse stays calm and does his things..
I like the picture, as a horse/westernfan of course , but also because of the joy and happyness in the drawing. And it is no coïncidence I guess, that the picture shown by the girl is almost a mirror for the man from the boots?
