I wasn't happy with the original picture,but loved the pose. My first attempts to use filters were not what I expected, so I decided to paint the colors in. After the area in the butterfly was filled in, I used saturation, highlights and contrast. I also used the following filters: Glowing edges and difused glow.
My goal was to recreate the butterfly to look like the original. Everything was done in stages repeated many times. This is the final result. I hope you enjoy.
