I found myself in the midst of a rainstorm when taking pictures one day. Since I knew there was a possibility of rain I had my umbrella with me. There was no wind or lightning so I just hunkered down and kept my camera dry. After the rain ,mist rose from the water and as the sun peeked through the clouds a low rainbow appeared over the water.

For those who are interested here is what I did to create this mixed media image

To make this mixed media I used a Bubble plug in to create bubbles the colors of the rainbow. Lighting is always weird when heavy storm clouds are about, so I played with the lighting for different looks.
Wanting to have a few sun rays in the image I used a lighting filter that creates Novas. To appear as the sun I only used the color yellow instead of mixed colors and placed the Nova more than half way off of the upper Left of the image so just a few rays would come through.
The dodge and burn filter was used to lighten areas where I imagined the sun would be shining while leaving some areas dark from the shade caused by the clouds.
