This is a Carolina Chickadee. Very similar to the Black caped Chickadee, slightly smaller and lacking conspicuous white area in wing created by white feather edges. Bib area smaller and more sharply defined. Song is notably different. Range is the southern half of the United States.
This is a sunflower seed in his beak, it is his favorite food.
