This is a great blue heron. I live close to a public lake and I go to see if there is something to photograph almost every day. It was raining today so when I saw this guy I parked as close as I could and rolled down the window and sat back from the window to keep the camera dry. I shot several of this guy and was just watching him through the lens and he started to shake off the water. I shot him and this is what I got! I am using an Olympus E3 camera with a 70-300mm lens. @50/sec f16 ISO auto
