Food Photography Contest Entry
Just yesterday at the farm stand I saw a table of striped squash for sale. I thought it would create a nice mixed media design for the food contest.

I applied glowing edges first and liked the colors that came up. I then used the kaleidoscope filter for the first spin. I liked the image ,but wanted something more so I took that design and gave it another spin. I liked the center but not the border so I copied the center and went back to the first design I'd spun and placed the new center design on it. I adjusted the size for the effect I wanted.

I now copied the first design I'd spun and spun it once again till I saw something I liked. I copied a ring in the center that I thought would make a nice inner ring to circle the center design.

I backtracked one agin to the first image I created and one again spun that. I was planning to use it as the outer ring and border, but the design was to heavy so I had to paint over a lot of it so the image would appear more delicate.

Everything looked nice so I changed from pgn to jpg. All I needed now was a little more color so I filled in the outer design with blue -green gradient. THe contest said create something new so I went full throttle.

I hope you like the design I came up with. It may not look like food, but the design was created from striped squash.
