I have been experimenting today. I filled my sink with water and added soap. Then I used a straw to blow through to create bubbles on the surface. I did not think about that they were going to move around on the surface of the water, and I ended up taking quite a few shots that I was satisfied with. Out of about 100 probably just 4 turned out sharp enough. While I was playing around with this, I was surprised to see how many shapes and colors I could see in the bubbles. I just used natural light, but found out it was more or less impossible to use a tripod. I used the edge of the sink to hold my camera steady.
