The San Pedro Cactus [Echinopsis pachanoi] is a night blooming cactus, native to Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru. The cactus is cultivated through tropical America and tropical destinations around the world. It is used in traditional medicine and widely grown as ornamental cactus for the beauty of its white, 7 to 8 inches wide blossoms. Trough Central America it could be found around farms taking the place of fences.
