not meeting my mother till I was eight, I had problems realising what a mother was - She was so different from myself, and also a different nationality, so until I had my daughter, an identiKit of her granny, I thought someone might have made a mistake at the hospital, after all the Russians had just marched in and all was chaos, maybe one of the Russian police women had a baby which got mixed up- but no, my daughter disproved that, so I drew many mother and child pictures -- of every type.
