The Lime [Citrus Aurantifolia] is a citrus tree growing in tropical and subtropical climates around the world. Several variations are known, reaching a height from 10-20 feet [3-6 meters]. The blossoms are as beautiful as the fruit is used for centuries in folk medicine as remedy for many illnesses. It is used in many dishes and drinks, even as household cleaner. Poured dried lime juice is used as insecticide. [The Lime is not related the tree known as Lime Tree in Brittany] Sony DSC-H2, f/3.8, 1/40 sec, ISO 100, 6 mm focal, cropped
