This is a photo from Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland. I am not going to tell the whole story about this camp, because I am sure most of you have heard it many times before. The barbed wires in this photo are cruel enough as they are, but when we know that these fences also were electric it is even worse. To see a place like this with my own eyes was a strong experience, and I will never forget it. I was there in December and it was snowing and it was windy all the time. This for sure set the grim atmosphere of this place.
