sadly it was announced tonight that Charlie Daniels died today. since i did this illustration to tribute that song years ago. i thought i would dust it off and repost this tributeto this multi grammy winner and songwriter.

oh yeah i know many of you will be asking about the charlie daniels song "devil went down to georgia" yeah thats the concept of this picture..yes some of you will make the comments that they were using fiddles..However, if you listening to the song the devils and other demons were using guitars in the song. However the song was based after an old southern folklore called "the devil and daniel wesbter" . the story was more about matching wit than music..so you can say this is a mash of all and my lil ole touch sharpie/bic pens to it..wink. yall comeon back now yahear!
