Recently MKFlood created an Image called Puppy Love. In his notes he challenged Mixed Media Artists to embellish his artwork. I took on the challenge and Mark sent me a copy of his artwork. This is the result of that collaboration.

What did I do? I changed the inner hearts color from a soft purple to blue. I added a lace kaleidoscope image of ice behind Mark?s adorable pup on top of the blue. I enhanced the white border of the inner heart by painting in lace loops. I cloned out the original rose Mark drew and replaced it with a real rose blossom, but kept the stem in the pups mouth. I added the font and phrases within. I added paw prints from a sign I saw. I painted in the xoxo bones and the tiny hearts. I also reshaped the large red heart Mark drew, made it smaller and changed the main background to black I also resized the eyes of the pup, because, WHO can resist a pup with BIG eyes. I even had the Pup sign the card with a paw print after, I woof you. It was a lot of FUN doing this!

I hope Mark likes the changes I made. I wanted to keep the humor a LOT of his drawings have. Here?s hoping HE likes it and so do you!
