The Pomegranate [Punica granatum], is a shrub which can be trained to a tree. It is thought to be originated in Iran. It is cultivated since ancient time and grown as crop and ornamental plant worldwide. Pomegranates are used in food and drinks and native medicine. Clinical trials are promising in a great variety of human disorders including cancer, memory, diabetic and many more, even the common cold.
