Was driving around the neighborhood of Royal Ranches, Queens looking for something to shoot, and then I saw it. At first I wasn't sure what I was seeing. So I got out of the car and approached very slowly - didn't want to scare it away. Well to my surprise it was not alive. Looks like someone carved a bear out of part of a fallen tree and there it was sitting along the side of the road at the top of a hill. Was tempted to leave it a jar of honey, but didn't have any with me. Tried to do some correction for the lighting issues, but just couldn't get it right - so I left it as is. Enjoy.
