Traditional Art
Mixed Media: Maximum | I created the background with wet pastels. I then sketched my field of flowers in with ink. I then painted my flowers and leaves roughly with pastels. I wanted to be free with my strokes of color in contrast to the detailed lines of my ink sketch. I used watercolor paper as an e perimeter to see how well it would work with pastels. I am not sure it would be my surface if choice for pastels.
