For myself, I would go to the Opera in Leipzig, or the Theatre and then go home to my Wohnheim, but was invited more than once to ''come for a drink'' by an inebreated Leipziger whilst waiting for my tram /I am a Mother Tongue speaker so got treated as a german, just from another part- namely Austria/ and heard long drunken rambles, some of which were very interesting.
