This canvas originated from a children's art set belonging to my granddaughter approximately 3 years ago. There were 3 canvases each with a very sketchy outline of a building on the blank area to be painted. The idea was to use imagination to complete each picture. This particular picture had the outline of a shed and fence to the left the rest was blank. I did this to show my granddaughter ideas so she could do likewise on one of her canvases. I filled in a wooded area background then grassed the front; the sheep were free hand drawn and painted as were the stones and all else in acrylic. She watched the technique of mixing colours from the basic primary ones. She was 7 years old at the time. We eventually completed the set and named it "The Primitive Art Collection" because of it hopefully looking easy and simplistic almost cartoony.
