Birds-in black and white Contest Entry

I saw this eagle at a rehabilitation zoo yesterday. I was playing around with my manual settings and manual mode. I had just been reading an article on how to focus out cage wire and it actually worked on this picture! I can't really make out any of the cage! The eagle was looking right towards the bright afternoon sun so I figured he'd be a little blown out in the white areas but I was overall happy with the results since I was experimenting with manual :)
