'Beaten and raped
Disowned and thrown out
Spit upon and hated
Poor child
Grown into a poor woman
Shes never spiteful or angry
She vows to not be like those
Who have caused her pain
She loves and never hates
She'll never be like she vows
She will be strong but silent
Beautiful but distant
She will be strong on her own
She needs no one
But will help all
Poor woman
Poor child
Alone in the world
Striving to help everyone
To make them all happy
But what of her?
What happens to her happiness
Her joy?
Her passion?
Her sense of peace?
Thrown away for the sake of a stranger
Who may never recall her name
Who wont ever thank her or remeber her kindness
Praised be that woman
The poor woman
Poor child'
