After a day at the State Park where I like to go and see the deer, me and my wife decided to go to Carowinds and see the firework display that was going to bring in the New Year, naturally it had been raining throughout the day and it was not a great night to see some fireworks but we went and it turned out to be a great night after all. If you have never been there Carowinds is a theme park on the North and South Carolina line, you can walk through the park and be in NC and then walk a little bit farther and be in SC, a lot of people will buy a season pass and go several times a year. They have a special when Halloween comes around and also a special called Winterfest for the Christmas season. They have rides for little children and also rides for those like me who never grow up, they also have a water park in the summer and picnic areas,camping and other things that you can do. So if you are ever this way come by and have a day of fun. By the way look for me on the roller coaster. See you later.
