Meet Pippin. Since the death of my sister's little girl, Pumpkin Spice, she has been very depressed. Pumpkin a while ago, severed her spine and lost the use of her legs. With a major operation, and some tender loving care, she came around and was able to walk and run with her brother, Bambi. But at the end of last year, Pumpkin suddenly lost the use of her legs again and her blood sugar among other things were out of control. They were able to bring her numbers to normal, but she never gained the use of her legs again. In just a matter of days, Pumpkin could not even eat. She went down hill fast. Seems Diabetes got the best of her without our knowledge. All her organs started shutting down. My sister and the rest of us lost all interest in most things during the holidays. Things were simply not the same. Then along came Pippin. This little boy is just as sweet as sugar and at 3 pounds, he is already running the family. He became best friends with not only Bambi, but also the house cat Rocky. We are happy again as he filled a void that we did not thing could be filled. After all, this little guy needed love too... so you see, he rescued us!
