This is our local movie theater and I can remember going there in the summer for just a quarter, all you had to do was just clip a coupon from the paper and you went to see some great movies and they had a drawing for a prize if you were the lucky one. Kids came from all over not to just get out of the heat but to hang around with friends and see what they could get into. I think that the movie theater might be torn down for all the remodeling that they are doing to get people to come back to town since the mill was torn down a few years ago. It is a major project because the stores that we went to when we were younger are being torn down for new stores. The old town that we use to go to is I am afraid will be no longer, and you know that a part of your childhood will probably be gone with it. I don't know how long it has been here but I am in my sixties and I have seen it all my life.
