I painted this quite some time ago after being at an art show that was held outside. Lana walked by with this stunning dog, although it had been raining and the the poor dog was wet, the way he stood with such grace I asked if I could take a picture of him to paint. Lana graciously said yes. She has never seen this painting because we lost touch, but I hope i did justice to this unbelievable stunning pet.
