This is a photo I took in memory of and in honor of the love my parent?s had for each other.I placed a single red rose and their wedding rings on the mirror from my mother?s dresser. My parent?s were high school sweethearts,my father 17 and my mother 16 when they went on a blind date,after that they were inseparable. People in my hometown said whenever you saw one of my parents,you knew the other one was close by,they went everywhere together.They were married for 63 years when my mother passed away,and had spent a total of 68 years as a couple,completely devoted to each other.The day she died was the only time I had ever seen my father cry,and it grieved me and my brother to see our father trying to live half a life without her. My father passed away,unexpectedly,last year,nine days before the fourth anniversary of my mother?s death.My brother and I buried their ashes together,under a headstone engraved with the words Inseparable Forever. I edited out some light spots ,adjusted color and brightness,slightly sharpened the image,used a vintage filter and added a slight vignette.
